Training

Mr. Ajeya Adhikari completed his MBBS training from Delhi University in 1984 obtaining a gold medal in the final examination. He then undertook Postgraduate training in Orthopaedics at the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi. He obtained his Masters Degree in Orthopaedic Surgery in 1990.
 
In the UK he trained in the North East Thames Registrar Rotation in Orthopaedic Surgery from 1991. He completed a Knee Fellowship with Mr. Jamie Flanagan at the Orthopaedic Centre, Black Notley Hospital.
 
He obtained the Master of Chirurgie in Orthopaedics, Degree through Dissertation and Examination from the University of Liverpool in 1996. He passed the FRCS (Orth) examination in 1999
 
Since then he has trained in various aspects of orthopaedic surgery in Austria, Switzerland and the USA.  
 
He currently works as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at the South West London Elective Orthopaedic Centre and the Epsom and St. Helier NHS Trust. Prior to that he worked in the same capacity for four years at King's College Hospital and University Hospital Lewisham in London.
